BFKL at next-to-leading order
This is a summary of the contributions on the next-to-leading order corrections to the BFKL equation which were presented to the ‘Small-x and Diffraction’ working group at the 1998 Durham Workshop on HERA Physics. The original BFKL equation [1] allowed the computation of elastic scattering amplitudes in the Regge limit to leading logarithmic (LO) accuracy, i.e. all terms ∼ (αs ln s)n are summed...

The representation of the total cross section at high energy √ s in the next-to-leading ln s approximation is given with definition of the impact factors and explicit expression for the BFKL kernel. The estimate of the Pomeron intercept and the next-to-leading contributions to anomalous dimensions near j = 1 are presented.

The kernel of the BFKL equation for non-zero momentum transfer is found at next-to-leading order. It is presented in various forms depending on the regularization of the infrared singularities in " virtual " and " real " parts of the kernel. The infrared safety of the total kernel is demonstrated and a form free from the singularities is suggested.

We solve the Balitsky–Fadin–Kuraev–Lipatov (BFKL) equation in the next–to–leading logarithmic approximation for forward scattering with all conformal spins using an iterative method .
متن کاملAn introduction to leading and next-to-leading BFKL
Some twenty-five years ago Balitsky, Fadin, Kuraev and Lipatov (BFKL) set out to determine the high-energy behaviour of the scattering of hadronic objects within perturbative QCD. They found terms going as (αs ln s) n, where s is the squared centre-of-mass energy. Since ln s is large it can compensate the smallness of ᾱs and thus it was necessary to sum this whole series of leading logarithmic ...
